2013-14 FHHA Timbits Registration Form
Great Lakes Scrips
February 6, 2013
Dear FHHA Families:
As this season winds down, I would like to offer you the opportunity to get a jump on obtaining credit toward your child's fees for next season. If you have a child that is going to continue with the FHHA, don't miss out on this opportunity. We are going to be running the scrip program throughout the off-season, so you will still be able to acrue credits, possibly paying off your entire ice bill before the season even starts! We had two families during this last season that made more than $300 toward their ice bills in a relatively short period of time. I will be putting in an order once a month, but Scrip Now downloadable cards and scrip reloads are available at any time.
If you are interested and have not registered, you can do so atshopwithscrip.com. You will need to register for Presto Pay. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the program, here is the original e-mail regarding the program:
Dear Parents of FHHA Players,
The FHHA is excited to announce its new fundraising initiative - Scrip cards through Great Lakes Scrip Company.
This is an incredibly simple fundraiser that allows you to earn credit toward your account simply by purchasing gift cards from hundreds of retailers on the Great Lakes Scrip website. An example of how this works if you place an order on their website for $100, you get $100 in gift cards. However, if the vendor were offering a 5% discount, you would get $5 deposited directly into your FHHA account. In other words, you get all of the money you spend in the form of goods/services and the retailer donates a percentage of your business to your FHHA account. Think of it as free money! You can literally save hundreds of dollars off of your hockey fees. You can also have other family members grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. sign up on the website and purchase cards that will put money in your hockey account.
Getting started is easy. There are hundreds of gift cards to choose from – gas cards, store cards, retailers, restaurant cards, some starting at just $5. Ordering is easy. Just register your family on the website:
When you register, you must reference our organization enrollment ID, which is LA46D2AL34732.
In order to use the website and pay for your gift cards, you must register with their online payment process (called PrestoPay). This is very similar to PayPal, and will allow you to pay for your cards directly from you checking account. This will be the only way you can order scrip, as the FHHA will not be accepting personal checks. A great benefit of PrestoPay is that many of the scrip purchases are e-mailed right to you and do not require shipping (such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Home Depot), and several cards offer re-loads (such as Speedway), so for those purchases, you won't even have to wait for card delivery. Physical card orders will be delivered twice monthly, at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena. More details will be forthcoming regarding the card delivery schedule.
Remember, as you create an account to list your child's name in the box provided so we know which student to give credit! If you have any questions setting up your account or placing your first order online, feel free to call me (Julie Staley) at (248) 939-6453, or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will also be handling card delivery to the arena.
You can also have your family members register on the website and have their orders applied to your child's hockey account.
Earn upto 5% just by buying your groceries at Busch's and Hillers:

We are no longer able to track individual purchases with the Krogers reward program. You can continue to participate and the Association will benefit from the purchases, but we will not be able to credit individual families anymore as we do not get that detail from Kroger anymore. Thank you to anyone who continues to help us out!
