Congratulations to the FHHA ’97 Flames for winning the  Lansing “Capital City Showdown” PeeWee A Championship -- Again!  The Farmington Hills ’97 Flames were crowned PeeWee A Champions at the Lansing “Capital City Showdown” the weekend of January 17th-19th.  The Flames are now back-to-back champions, and a three year finalist.  In the championship game, the Flames won a 6-5 overtime thriller over the Macomb Mavericks capping off a perfect 5-0 record for the three days of competition.  Coach Greg Abraham led the team to wins against Allen Park 4-3, Marquette 13-1, Saginaw 8-3 and Indianapolis 10-2 in the semi-finals.  A terrific effort all weekend was given by the following players: Kyle Abraham, Danny Arnold, Nick Barra, Theo Calvas, Chris Donaldson, Peter Elieff, Jordan Fuchs, Michael Gies, Eamon Hilliard, Josh Kirsch, Richard Lantz, Zack Malles, Anthony Montante, Austin Morgan, Brian Pattison, Spencer Wright and Frank Zak.  The assistant coaches are Scott Arnold, Rich Pattison, Jerry Wright and Fran Zak

Midget B and BB aka the Shamrocks both won tournaments this past weekend!

B won the Big Bear Firebird in Ann Arbor going 4-0-0

BB won in Indianapolis going 5-0-0







FHHA Pee Wee #3 Predators win Great Lakes Invitational Tournament  Lead by strong defensive play from Roman Firestone, Brendan Childress, Grant Newton and Matt Downey and stellar goaltending from MVP Goaltender Temmon Schellenberg (6 goals against for the tournament), the FHHA Pee Wee #3 Predators won the Great Lakes Invitational Tournament in Holland Mi on the weekend of January 16th.

The Predators beat a tough Franklin Park Panthers team from Chicago 4-1 in the final game with goals from Alec Maddalena, Austin Meltzer and 2 goals from team captain Nicholas Kozoro. The defense then shut it down with great passing and crushing hits to win the championship.  The weekend also featured goals from Matthew Jenkin, Liam Kozaczynski, Brendan Childress, Grant Newton and Ian Seach with great play coming from all players on the team including Jay McLellan, Andre Duqum, Liam Shannon and Owen Zebley.  The FHHA Predators is coached by George Childress, Mike Lauzon, Chris Firestone, Ken Shannon and Chris Kozaczynski






96 Fire Wins Arena Maps Elite Earlybird Invitational in Kalamazoo Sept. 18-19th.  With an exciting championship game finish, the Fire came from behind with 3 minutes to go winning in the last minute of play. The Fire won all tournament games defeating ranked teams from Michigan, Texas and Illinois.





Congratulations  '97 Flames for winning MyHockeyRankings Preseason Challenge PW A Championship!

The Farmington Hills ’97 Flames were crowned PeeWee A Champions at the MyHockeyRankings Preseason Challenge the weekend of September 26th-28th in Chicago.  The invitational tournament included teams from Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.  In the championship game, the Flames won 6-5 over the Romeoville Huskies capping off a 3-1-1 record for the three days of competition.  Coach Greg Abraham led the team to wins against nationally high ranked teams that play in the CSDHL.  A terrific effort all weekend was given by the following players: Kyle Abraham, Danny Arnold, Nick Barra, Theo Calvas, Chris Donaldson, Peter Elieff, Jordan Fuchs, Michael Gies, Eamon Hilliard, Josh Kirsch (MVP), Richard Lantz, Zack Malles, Anthony Montante, Austin Morgan, Brian Pattison, Spencer Wright and Frank Zak.  The assistant coaches are Scott Arnold, Rich Pattison and Fran Zak.
